Solo exhibition “Unseen: a journey into inner worlds” at Slice of life Vancouver, Sept 2025
‘Ocean Queen’ started as a quick sketch in my journal that just came naturally to me. The canvas underneath had an ocean floor painting, and after I drew this quiet, observant woman, it felt fitting having her over that old paint. Her floral swimming cap made her perfect for that underwater space, and she became this silent, watchful figure that belonged exactly where the ocean scene used to be.
