‘Fish Oddity’comes from memories of Chilean lakes and the carp that live there, those fish that aren’t particularly beautiful but are deeply familiar to me. Emerging from a portal, floating above abstract ocean waves as visitors from another dimension. I love creating doorways to other realities within a single space. It’s about how memory works, bringing pieces of home through unexpected portals, transforming the ordinary into something magical.
